I hate porn sites!

Last night, I was typing the address to a website I wanted to go to. It so happened that since I think I misspelled the address, this dang porn site came up. I believe the site was www.qwerti.com. It had $1 porn, and some other stuff I really didn't want. I hate porn sites, especially if they pop up out of nowhere. I believe that that kind of website should be against the law!

Post 2 by KC8PNL (The best criticism of the bad is the practice of the better.) on Monday, 29-Oct-2007 0:07:53

Some people might think that your posts should be against the law, but you don't hear them complaining. My point is that just because you find something against what you believe in, that doesn't mean it shold be against the law. If I think that they should make all Christian related websites, for example, illegal, isn't this just as valid?

Post 3 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Monday, 29-Oct-2007 0:15:24

Any kind of pop up is anoying. May I ask...Why were you looking at the website? You could've easily avoided it as soon as you figured out what it is.

Post 4 by audioadict (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Monday, 29-Oct-2007 2:31:12

Kc8pnl, I see your point. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't porn illegal? I didn't want to look at the site, but jaws read off stuff on the site as soon as it popped up.

Post 5 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Monday, 29-Oct-2007 4:10:11

I don't think they are illegal, as long as you certify by clicking some button somewhere that you are over 18, just like you certify you are over 13 to view the Zone. Don't see anything particularly wrong with porn, in fact, on the news, they said that if porn is regularly shown to people at nursing omes in Denmark they become much happier and easier to deal with. Kinda cute but also kinda disturbing. ;)

Post 7 by nikos (English words from a Greek thinking brain) on Monday, 29-Oct-2007 10:02:11

I might be wrong but i believe that porn websites are legal as long as the people looking at them are over 18 and the people in their videos or pictures are also over 18. If they had children or teenagers that would be illegal. But download 87 if i remember right a few weeks ago you said on the boards that you know how to edit registry so you make trial programs to last longer or something. So if you do something illegal how can you complain about other illegal people? lol.

Post 8 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Monday, 29-Oct-2007 12:40:20

DL87, if you hate Porn sites, simply, don't go on 'em. i don't like them either and I avoid them at all costs. Porn is illegal and that's all there is too it. Here in Britain, anyone caught even looking at Porn at work, School or College, would lose their places before they could say jackknife.

I don't want to go on a porn site, but they just pop up out of nowhere without my permission and when I know what the site is, I exit right away!

Post 10 by soaring eagle (flying high again!) on Monday, 29-Oct-2007 18:04:45

Katie, there's appear to be a lot of stuff you don't like. I am not saying porn sites are great but for those that like them well. there must be stuff we don't like but you have the freedom to enjoy it or go away from it. man your just bitching about everything you don't like. Man, is there anything you enjoy?? sorry to be a jerk but this just waste space if we all posted about everything we hated. smile B

I seem to have no problems. I only get these anoying little addsonce in a while. Do you have a popup blocker enabled?

Post 12 by audioadict (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Monday, 29-Oct-2007 21:03:25

I have a pop up blocker, but it doesn't do any good.

Post 13 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Monday, 29-Oct-2007 21:08:23

Try looking at the setting for it. Mine was set to low and that's why I was getting adds but I fixed it. You can set it to low, medium or high if you are using the windows popup blocker.

Post 16 by The Luggage (Zone BBS Addict) on Friday, 02-Nov-2007 5:01:30

Post 8. Pornography is not illegal in the United Kingdom at all! Certain kinds of porn are illegal of course, anything involving underaged people certainly is, or murder (those are called Snuff movies). I don't even think movies involving sex with animals are illegal anymore, although I could b wrong about that, I would imagine they probably are. There are over 20 pornography channels available on Sky and cable TV! If it were illegal, do you think that would be allowed? We aren't talking about soft-core porn either, we're talking about hard-core stuff. You can also legally go into licensed sex shops and purchase porn DVD's over the counter!

Porn is a massive industry that makes billions and billions of pounds every year from the sale of memberships to porn sites and porn TV channels, sex toys, magazines, clothing, phone sex services and regular chatlines etc. Face it! Its legal, and its here to stay! You might not agree with porn, believing that it is blatent exploitation of women, but you should keep in mind that porn actresses and actors are paid a lot of money for what they do these days, the vibrater is the most popular household aplients in the United Kingdom apart from the mobile phone, and that as we become more open to new cultures and ideas, our morrality laws are getting more and more liberal. If ya can't beatem, joinem! Its more fun!

Maybe there're sighties looking at it there today and switching the monitors off if a member of staff's around, or the filters to prevent the students there looking at're not as effective as they used to be, or the techies've taken a permanent holiday, I dunno, but don't come crying to me if you're eventually caught and chucked out of School. I think that actually did happen once while I was there.

People complain about porn sites because they may sometimes feel jealousy that they're not the one's getting fucked.

People are lacking something if they think porn is ok and anyone does that for a job is crazy. Hmmm. Perhaps a potential careerĀ for some of you zoners?

In my beliefs, I think looking at porn is very wrong no matter the age. My sister goes online allot, and I don't want her viewing that stuff. Whoever thinks looking at porn weather on tv, online, or any other means is out of their mind.

Post 22 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Thursday, 08-Nov-2007 23:41:37

Well, there's just no getting around the fact that people do llook at it. I can understand why you don't want your sister looking at such material; she's still a child.

Post 23 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Thursday, 08-Nov-2007 23:43:14

Well, I know it's not the end of the world, but how do I keep my sister from seeing it. I tried the pop up blocker, and it did no good.

Post 25 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Friday, 09-Nov-2007 20:00:54

I believe there is a way to block web sites you don't want unwary people to see.

Post 26 by nikos (English words from a Greek thinking brain) on Friday, 09-Nov-2007 20:04:36

Maybe you can contact your ISP and ask them if they have adult blocking software. Mine send an email last year about parent control software so you might be able to get simmilar things. But they might not be free lol. Did you change your mind now because you have to pay? But it is for a good reason.

Post 29 by Dubstep1984 (I just keep on posting!) on Thursday, 27-Dec-2007 13:18:01

this is for post 16. i went to this antiporn website, and read all of the horrors of hardcore porn. alot of the women who act in hard core porn are sickened by it afterward. i have seen some of those behind the scenes footages and alot of the poor women go into the bathroom and wretch their guts out between scenes because they r so sickened by what they were made to do. i feel sorry for those women being taken advantage of like that. i mean, some of the positions that those men put the women into r not cool! i think porn is immoral as well. anyone who has a bf/ gf, or spouce should not look at porn or other men/women. i feel that even looking at another person is a form of cheating on your significant other.

Post 30 by Damia (I'm oppinionated deal with it.) on Thursday, 27-Dec-2007 16:06:23

a few things to say
dl go in to even wallmart or something and you can get software to put on your computer to keep adult content blocked if you don't want it.

another thing people have choices in what field of work they want to go in to. There's allot to be said for making your bed if you get my drift. If they don't like how they are treeted in porn then swich careers.

Some people have sexual fantacies that they wouldn't really do in real life with a partner, or maybe they are single or with a partner looking to spice things up, or to even just wank with interaction with out hurting someone else. If people are willingly getting vids or pics taken of it who are we to judge? I don't mean kiddy porn in this either. I mean conscenting adults. Kiddy porn and animal porn are wrong and in most places are illegal and should stay that way.

If you don't like it stay away, but for thoughs who do like some now and again let us be.

Post 31 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Thursday, 27-Dec-2007 17:35:58

They are not "forced" into porn. We're talking about low-budget actors and wana-bees.

Post 32 by Eleni21 (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Thursday, 27-Dec-2007 23:49:22

Well, aside from things like child or animal pornography (both of which I'm totally against by the way) or things where people relly are held against their will, I'm totally for porn. I say as long as you're a legal adult, have fun and enjoy! The only thing that bothers me is that some of these sites contain viruses. personally, I'd watch it if I could, but I'm a total, so it's out for me. In any case, I've heard that alot of what they make today is high gloss, fake and cheesey. But that doesn't mean I can't enjoy erotic fiction. As for adult toys and such, I think it's wonderful that they're gaining a wider acceptance. Sex is something to be enjoyed, not shunned, and if it's true about the older people getting enjoyment from it, more power to them!

Post 33 by Dubstep1984 (I just keep on posting!) on Thursday, 27-Dec-2007 23:56:42

in my opinion, people take sex lightly anyway. anymore it is not a sacred thing between a man and a woman. it is talked about freely and openly and most times, the women are talked about immorally as if they r strictly sex objects for the mens enjoyment. my husband does not disrespect me like that. he does not tell everyone else how beautiful he thinks i am.

Post 34 by Eleni21 (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Friday, 28-Dec-2007 0:02:56

What's wrong with saying that you think your wife is beautiful?

Post 35 by Dubstep1984 (I just keep on posting!) on Friday, 28-Dec-2007 0:46:46

nothing is wrong with it. i just substituted the word sexy for the word beautiful.

Post 36 by forereel (Just posting.) on Friday, 28-Dec-2007 1:15:11

So what's wrong with saying your wife is sexy? Porn is legal and should be except if it harms. Adults should view it. Now as for your computer download. You first need to sweep it with both virus and Spyware removal programs also install ones with shields. Once you sweep then your pop up issues is gone providing you use good programs. Next to keep your sister from viewing this stuff One care has a free program you can install to setup parental controls, so that she can not view sites you wish her not to view, at least while at your computer. Norton, Mcafee and some other programs provide this control as well. Inside windows you can also set permissions on your machine to block content. Personal choice is good, and your choice not to view this, or have it viewed from your computer is great, so block it there, but do not say it's bad for all. These "behind the scenes movies are most likely filmed by people trying to get porn banned. If you live in America you can not be forced to do anything. Also I only see women being exploited, but there are menin these films because they are men it is exactly what they want and no women in these films enjoy the work? Read some interviews of the porn stars then decide. The women make 4 or 5 times the money as the men, so who's getting exploited? Just my thoughts.

Post 37 by Dubstep1984 (I just keep on posting!) on Friday, 28-Dec-2007 11:23:12

porn does harm. it harms relationships. i caught my husband with a porn videotape when i came home from my week at school. i took it out of the vcr and threw it into the dresser drawer and chewed him out when he got home. and he says, i couldnt wait until u got home, i needed an outlette because i missed u. and then he says. and i suppose that you dont do the same thing during the week that you r away? i said no because i can control myself. and ever sense then, he hasnt watched porn.

Post 38 by forereel (Just posting.) on Friday, 28-Dec-2007 15:03:07

Not as you no of anyway. SMILE I forgot some points for getting rid of porn from your computer. After sweeping with both Virus, and spyware programs, or a quality one that offers both also clean your browser
cash. Delet everything in their. Temp files, history, you name it. If using IE 7 there is a icon that does it all for you. Porn sites are the worst for adding trogens, and such things to your computer, so this is why even setting your pop blocker to max does not get rid of them. You'll also want to run virus and spyware programs with shields, so after you've taken the time to clean your system up you'll not have to worry about it. Now here is the last part of this. If you clean your system up, but other users look at the sites, then it gets polluted again, so if you don't want it to come back then all users must be set on your site advisor program that blocks it all, or at least most of it. Speaking of your sister monitoring her web habits is the best, or giving her an account that blocks all objectional content, so she can only log on to this account. Also you'll want to set her account to limited restricting changes and downloads. Last after all this is done run your system tools both disc cleanup and defrag. I know it's lots of work, but you'll get rid of it and if you do as I've suggested then you'll not have to worry about it. Remember it comes back soon as someone goes to a site and views it if it's one that adds stuff on your computer. If that person has administative rights they simply say okay when all your devices say basicly do you want to allow this site? so they say yes and boom stuff is back and you have to start over.
Enjoy and good luck.

Post 39 by Eleni21 (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Friday, 28-Dec-2007 18:09:25

Some couples enjoy it as a form of stimulation while they're together, so it's hardly a bad thing in that case. And some single people watch it too.

Post 40 by forereel (Just posting.) on Friday, 28-Dec-2007 22:21:20

Yes and Somanea your husband married you right? I'm sure he watched porn before your marage, but he chose you as his bride. So porn watching on his side might make your sex life sizzle? I can't enjoy it without description, so reading is better then watching fore me. I do say the younger people need be protected from it tell they are old enough to make choices, but the choice is good and wholesome. I disagree that porn destroys relationships. Shared it can be powerful. Allowing a wife or husband to share things tightens your union, but making them hide it causes guilt. Your the one that is chosen. He can't have the film girls, so who does he/she turn to? Nice. SMILE

Post 42 by Dubstep1984 (I just keep on posting!) on Saturday, 29-Dec-2007 1:18:46

oh and btw. i am not religious by any means, but one day i was flipping through the channels and happened to see this thing on the 700 club about how a former porn star gave up porn and found, ahem, jesus. she was talking about how the acts that she was made to do in the film shoots sickened her and degraded her. she was telling how she really felt low and dirty and violated after her first film shoot.

Post 43 by forereel (Just posting.) on Saturday, 29-Dec-2007 10:47:32

There is exceptions to ever rule. Police personal who hated the work they did. Lawyers that defend criminals, then feel guilty for doing a good job in there profession, and this list goes on. I still say most in this fieled do it because they like it. Think about it all these women are not being forced. All the men will not say they have enjoyed their jobs either, so. Also there seems to be a perception that all porn stars are dumb, or uneducated. Grab a Playboy and look at some of the playmates statis. Most have exceptional degrees in various fields and so do these porn stars, so if this is the case why would a woman that has a masters degree in say psychology do this work? SMILE

Somanea, you know I have a great deal of respect for you, but you're killing me!
Porn only is harmful if you are insecure. Furthermore, porn is nothing more than a fantacy on the "big screen", computer, or what have you.
It seems you've been hurt and this is why you feel the way you do. If that is the case, I apologize.
I will end with the following:
It's not wrong to fantasize...it's natural in fact.

Thanks, Tiffanitsa, for your post 32! It's the most sensible thing I've seen on this thread. I'm in complete agreement. And I like stories, too. *grin* And they're safer to find and view than actual porn film.

If we're going to complain about something vile online, why not complain about spam email? I don't often land on a porn site, so that's not a problem, but I *hate* getting filth in my inbox! Fortunately, this doesn't happen every day or even every week, but it is a great annoyance.

I don't like porn stuff either. I used to go to the literature kinds of sites, but I don't do that anymore. Besides that I'm wanting to work on being closer to God, the stuff itself just got boring after awhile anyway. Now I really don't see the point of why people would want to read/look at it. I mean, I know it can be interesting/exciting, but I just feel like that time reading/looking at porn can be spent doing something more productive/meaningful. Just my opinion.

Post 54 by Twinklestar09 (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Saturday, 23-Feb-2008 9:31:27

Now that I think about it, people can also not be doing anything productive by just being on the computer all day without looking at porn, but I still feel like there is no point to looking at/reading that stuff specifically.

I agree with Katie, they should be illegal. Imagine this happens to a young person, an underage. There should be at least warnings that this is adult contents, if it has to be legal, but I am against them in general, too. I know only because I don't like it it won't get better, but I am just saying if some crazy people cannot live without it ,then there should be at least warnings.

I think the reason don't shower 87 hates porn is because it makes her think of what she's not getting, and won't get so long as she don't shower. I see nothing what so ever wrong with porn, be it in either story or movie content. I look at it this way. nobody ever holds a gun to a girl's head and says, you will! be in this movie. porn stars get payed, and payed well! and if they're gonna do super freaky or abnormmal things, you can bet that their pay checks are seriously increasing, and they're freaks themselves and somewhere inside them, are into that sort of thing.
so download 87, stop being a fuckin kiljoy just because you ain't getting any cock.

Do you think people believe pornography is bad and dirty and nasty because many of us grow up thinking that sexuality is just as bad, unless you are married, heterosexual, monogamous and intend to have children?

nasty?
Wrong?
Strong words...but ask yourself, do you not masterbate, have sex, or participate in likewise actions?
We all do! So, do you think that is wrong? If so, let's all do nothing of the sort until we're maried. Lol.

Nononononononono, I was not talking about what I personally thought. I was more reflecting attitudes towards sex that I feel are messed-up but are also pretty popular at least here in America.

Post 1, yes you do bitch quite a lot. You are 21, grow up. that is pretty much all I have to say to that.

Post 20, you have quite a point. Since the zone is full of people who apparently love to tell how big something is or how whatever something might be and tell their fanticies I think about 90% of zoner bots should consider such a career. They might actually meet other people then sitting online all day.

Katy, and this is for anyone, if you have popups of any sort, you better check for viruses. You don't like them, then start smarting up and keeping your box clean. Such a simple solution yet this thread continues to grow. <shrugs>

Though this topic was so dumb I had to post since it is hot in here and can't get sleep I figured why not piss some more people off. For me it is fun. I am certainly not religious as some people are on this dump of a site.

some of you state porn and that not are wrong, btu I'd like to disagree. Maybe it's not something we'd be willing to do. i'd be willing to rwrite stoies, but not be part of a porn tape, but I find porn and lidderodica to be usefull. For one when two partners want to get down with each other you can get ideas from porn, or it can be hot to hear it in the back ground of your own hot seen the sounds being able to bring a higher plattoe of sexual arousal. As for the stories we all masterbate or have at one time in our lives I'm sure of it, and what is wrong with reading something that we may watnt o do in real life whether we do or not, and adding it to our repatwair of fantacies?
Why idoe this seem so wrong. Please explain it I'd like to know?

Naturally, not everyone agrees that porn is okay...that's there opinion...
Oh, and Squiggles, if this site is such a dump, don't log on.

Hey margorp it is not wrong to fantascise, but yet when you are in a relationship. it's wrong then too? Just my thoughts.

Omg, can I just say, wow, I'm bored and sick and can't sleep and this is just so funny! Omg, squiggles or whatever, the whole you're 21 thing was just so funny! But ok, I'm not gonna lie to you, I've never seen a porn. Not so much because I think they're wrong, just because I don't wanna get caught with that stuff. My dad's company pays for (or used to) a lot of our internet services, and someone called my dad last year questioning a porn clip he found under my brother's account, so I just don't wanna jeperdize my dad's job like that just because I'm horny or something. Lol. I might look into it when I'm in a place of my own or with some guy, I dunno. Lol but this shit's awesomely hilarious. Keep it up.
